OneDrive Not Syncing? Here Is The Fix

Try These In Order
Most OneDrive sync issues are tied to file path length, file type restrictions, or sign-in/account problems. Walk through these to find the cause.
- Check OneDrive icon in system tray for error message
- Pause and resume sync
- Sign out of OneDrive and sign back in
- Check file path length (Windows has a 260 character limit)
- Check for unsupported characters in filenames
- Check available disk space
- Reset OneDrive (settings command in Run dialog)
- For SharePoint sync issues — relink site
- Update Office to the latest version
