Try These First
Teams issues are usually authentication, cache, or audio/video device problems. Most are quick fixes once you know what to look at.
- Sign out completely and sign back in
- Clear Teams cache (close Teams, delete cache folder)
- Check audio & video device permissions
- Update Teams to the latest version
- Check if your firewall is blocking Teams
- Test mic/camera in Windows Settings
- For meeting issues — try web version (teams.microsoft.com)
- Restart your computer (yes, really)
- For external meetings — confirm guest access is enabled in admin
