How you recover depends on whether you used a Microsoft account or a local Windows account when you set up the PC.
- Microsoft account: visit account.microsoft.com/recover from another device
- Local account: try security questions on the lock screen
- Try a different password — common passwords with caps lock different
- For Microsoft accounts you control, use phone/email recovery
