Printer Not Printing? Try This First
Printers are notoriously frustrating. Most “wont print” issues are stuck queues, offline status, or driver problems — all fixable in minutes.
Try These First
Most printer issues fall into a few common categories. Walk through these in order.
- Restart the printer (power off for 30 seconds)
- Check if printer shows "Offline" — set it back to Online
- Clear the print queue (cancel all stuck jobs)
- Check the cable or WiFi connection
- Reinstall the printer driver
- Check ink/toner levels and paper
- For wireless printers — confirm the printer and PC are on the same network
